Bumble & Birdie was born from a love of creating and using gorgeous plant-based recipes in everyday self-care routines or rituals. Inspired by the healing powers of plants, and their gorgeous scents.

Influenced by nature and a strong passion for clean beauty, and plant-based products, owner Stevee began experimenting with organic oils and hand-crafting artisan products for herself as a teenager. This passion evolved over some years into a keen personal interest in horticulture, growing, harvesting, foraging, and plant distillation.

This passion for botanicals and the refinement of natural ingredients into useful gorgeous products over the years acted as a pathway to the creation of Bumble & Birdie NZ in 2021. We pride ourselves in being mindful of the full process from the growth of the plant to, extraction and effectiveness of formulations that are free of parabens and sulphates.

It is important to us to use responsibly sourced, vegan, and organic ingredients that showcase only the best of what nature has on offer, delivering powerful moisture, soothing, brightening and nourishing formulas while minimising the pollution on the earth through our compostable packaging.
